Solo stoves are nice, all of our friends have them. The only thing that kept me from getting one is they don't put off that much heat. You literally have to be on top of it to get warm. Nice if you just want the aesthetic.

I have an old tractor rim and surrounded it with old time bricks stacked to the top for a better look

Unfortunately, now if you do mimic the Haitians, it's cultural appropriation.

Upon further review, just do like the Haitians and frick the haterz:

Just find a used loader or dozer tire and light it up.

I'm not saying it will add thousands of dollars of equity, but it will definitely add at least what it costs.

I looked at the kits they had at Lowes, but we wanted something a little bigger (TWSS). So i was able to order the metal ring then use the same brick rocks to go around it. All works great after drilling some vent holes in that ring. I use it to burn cardboard and paper when trashcans get too full. Enjoy sitting out there in the winter as well with fires and some cocktails.

Once mine gets going, it puts off way more heat than the cheap big box store fire pits I’ve had.

I have a solo stove and it does put off a lot of heat once it gets going. But you gotta keep feeding it bc it burns the wood like nothing else I’ve seen.
