Spinning combo deals

Looking for deals for some spinning combos for the kids. Anyone know of deals this holiday weekend? Nothing high end bc they will undoubtedly break a tip off. Mid quality reel and cheaper Med wt rod would be great.

Went to the ponds today after the rain stopped. I found a popper to use. I had two swipes but no hookups. Went back to bait caster and caught 6.
I have a 5wt and an 8wt. What # leader should I use for my 5wt for bass?
I see them online. Any particular site you buy them from?

The ponds by my house were stocked 3 years ago and there is a nice bass population now. My kids and I have been catching several bass every day.
Im looking to buy some flies for bass. The place I used to go to in Slidell is no longer open. Can someone point me in the right direction for the greater no area?

I’ve had one for 3 years. 20+ guns in it. Using a golden rod and monitor humidity. No issues.

I have a 24x40 shop and added a loft. My 14yo 140lb son can walk up there with all the stuff I’ve stored. I’m a little nervous to do so.
Question: those brackets you used to hold the cross beams…is there any difference in load strength to those vs 2 pocket screws in each side? May be a dumb question but I practice medicine and pretend to be handy.

Where do you live? Meplat is in Metairie. Kenny is an attorney and suppressor dealer. Makes it very easy.

Simple foam plugs with any suppressor make it very quiet.
Most likely no one would buy it. Used bows values drop off crazy. Flagship bows from 2020 has little value.
400-500. A Mathews 3vx goes for 500.
Hijack: seeing any deer in amite? Super slow by us. 5th year out there.

I’ve done it with my neighbor and kids. It was fun. 2 boats. One for gear. The other to hunt. Getting there and back was treacherous imo. Camping was cool. Our wood was green so that sucked. Rained for a bit one day got cold and windy quick and there was no escaping it. Lots of people around if you need help.

Good point. You can get a 5-10yo used bow very cheap on archery talk classifieds
Just the strings would be a concern. I’d have someone who knows what’s up look at them.
