Animal archery target - Success
Looking for a good deal on an animal archery target. Don’t really care the animal. Preferable a pig or deer. Something with a replaceable core and a main unit that doesn’t break the bank. The deer always in stock at academy in harahan I hear is a pos....

re: Oct 1 Bow Opener 150 days away boys IST - Success
Just got my bow back 2 weeks ago from Sammy. I dropped it off Mardi Gras week. He’s just that busy. I’d never pay 2300 for a new bow loaded out. Go on archery talk. People sell 1 yo bows all the time for a huge discount. Same for sights, rest, quivers. Even arrows. I don’t think I’ve ever bought...

re: Intro Compound Bow selection - Success
You won’t get in to anything new worth a shite at this price point. I’m not saying $1000 is worth it for a bare bones Mathews. But you will still need to outfit any now. Pse stinger comes ready to shoot and is a good entry bow but it’s 450-500 new. I’d look used. ...

re: School me on kayak fishing - Success
Word of advice. Don’t cheap out even if you think you might hate it. A good fishing kayak holds it value. Also a lot of value in a used kayak too. Like a 2016 hobie outback for 1800-2000 is a good buy. If you bought it for that much you could sell it for that. The difference between a cheap kayak...

re: Lab and force fetch - Success
Yup. I appreciate kemo’s help. I’ve had my dog a little over a week while the train is at some field tests for the rest of this week. He definitely was a beast when I tried this on my own. And being on an elevated area didn’t work for him. Per kemo’s advice, I put him on the floor and cinched his le...

re: Lab and force fetch - Success
I’m not gonna out him. Besides all the reasons I mentioned, I called several “normal” clients. I had it narrowed to 3 trainers. I don’t like to waste money and did my due diligence. He can hold walking at heel. He can hold all the way to hand. He will drop it at heel. That is where he struggles....

re: Lab and force fetch - Success
The trainer I am using is well known. I don’t want to say his name on here to start a shitting contest. One of the biggest charter guys in the state sends his dogs to him for years. He’s got many many dogs with various titles under his belt. I felt I vetted him well before choosing him. But as I...

Lab and force fetch - Success
My lab just turned 1 and has been with the trainer for 2.5 months. He came home bc the trainer will be at field trials the next 2 weeks so I have him for a little while. My lab did not take to force fetch. The trainer said he tried several times to put him on the table and the dog basically tried ...
