You're not far off.

Can you imagine spending all that money to develop a vehicle, just to sell less than 100 a month nationwide? Insanity. They've sold less than 5,000 of them in total over the last two years.

In comparison in the EV market, Tesla sold 480,126 vehicles between April and June.

Every adult man should know how to use a manual transmission. It is not that hard.

Among my old cars, I have three on the tree (1939 Buick), unsynchronized 3 speeds (Model A's, 45 Jeep), four on the floor (pickup truck).

My home towners in the late 70's had their own vaguely defined terms for shifting: slap shift (not in the modern sense), slam shift, crease shift (who the hell knows what that was), slide shift, etc.

We tried, with varied success, to master clutchless shifting.
