This is why most people don’t want people like this in their neighborhoods, schools, businesses etc. they are uncivilized, low iq, poor impulse control pieces of shite.

Yes, that is what I'm saying. Have you watched the video?
No I couldn't find the link in your OP

My wife and I watch the nightly news just for the laugh.

I think if you're around certain people any you are not expecting certain things to happen you have zero situational awareness. You need to fix that.
Even Jesus understood that.
"Behold I am sending you out as sheep in the mist of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." Matthew 10:16
I could be off, but I take that to mean, be prepared for stuff to happen, and be prepared to deal with it, but don't go around starting no crap.

If you scroll down, someone posted the video. i was too busy refreshing the recruiting of an LSU QB to learn how to post the video. Maybe today I'll have some time.

I watched the video. Damn that Lidia woman's email has soo many vowels. It would drive me insane without copy and paste.

If that detail disturbs you, then maybe that’s your problem. Bringing up the story is one matter, but telling the OP to disregard certain details is another. Suppressing the truth from the world only encourages more lies to take its place.
The fact that OP posted this at all is dumb af.

It’s Lafayette - surprised it wasn’t more of a chit show

History of Lafayette Downtown:
Prior to Early 2000s, nothing much was Downtown. It was considered an area to avoid. Most of the bars were located on the Strip with a few dotting Downtown (Grant Street, Metropolis), and the outliers Poets and Taylor Plaza.
Early 2000s, Lafayette dumps a buttload of money into Downtown "Reglorification" and issues way too many bar licenses.
It becomes very nice and hip, until the original bars start closing and new bars that cater to a more "urban" clientelle start appearing.
It also becomes cool for juvenile delinquents to start frequenting Downtown, as many of the aforementioned "new bars" will serve you as long as you can see over the bar. Also, many of them will simply throw an ice chest in their trunk or the back of their pick-up and hang out in the parking lots to avoid having to pay the overinflated prices in the bars.
Absolutely nothing is done by ANY incoming administration to deal with the uptick in ghetto behavior and rampant underage drinking.
Add to it an ever-increasing homeless problem and it just compounds.
Most restaurants in the area close at 9pm on weekends.
The only decent area is around the Jefferson-Johnston intersection.
End result: Downtown Lafayette is once again a shithole....

Maybe wanna figure this out before posting on OT?
Well, in my defense (not just my age), I saw the short clip on TV and couldn't find it on the internet, so I just assumed someone on Tigerdroppings would have posted a little more than what I saw.
Now, I'm sure I can figure out how to link a video and pic from the internet ( I do have a computer science degree), but I haven't figured out how to link a TV segment to the message board, when the story hasn't been posted yet on the tv networks online page.

As long as Fightingville is within walking distance, downtown will always have a problem
