On one the hand the injury bit them pretty hard, especially on defense, but Dan really screwed the pooch hiring Morton for OC. On top of Holmes arrogance saying 'we're good' about any potential trade/signing. They need to upgrade the o-line and defense. It's time to stop messing and try to win now, Goff isn't getting any younger. I think Dan has another year before the seat gets hot.

Things were looking up during the Haynesville boom, really wasn't too bad. Now going back there for work, definitely has taken a turn for the worst. I made the mistake of booking a room at one of the casinos, quite depressing.

I'd be more comfortable with a couple of more years of experience. He has done well this season, so far in my opinion doing a better job than his predecessor. I hate to sound like an O tard, but he is familiar & aware of the culture. The day to day operations, recruiting, etc is big question. If he was a more proven commodity, it would be a slam dunk hire.
