Way more likely - they thought they were doing an actual operation, messed up, and are now calling it training to avoid disclosing the operation publicly

The chances of anything happening to these agents getting any punishment beyond a stern talking to is hovering around 0%

I'd like to know if he was one of the pilots who was part of the initial resistance to vaccine mandates. Remember, it was airline pilots who were the first major group to tell Joe to frick off.

Did he, if possible, charge them with aggravated assault and kidnapping? That would have been a nice twist.

Lawsuit would be nice too. Interesting piece on the night training oddity comment. These fricks are definitely prepping up for something.

This was likely an actual op and they are covering up saying it was training

The people being trained knew nothing about it because the FBI never came to their door. This was DoD using FBI to help train DoD people. They just went to the wrong room and got some innocent pilot rather than the trainee.

Pretty obvious. They'll use nonsense like they did with the January 6 hooplah to take out or silence those who would threaten the entrenched political elite.

One article says department of defense agents were sent to wrong room (guess by FBI).

Not sure who made the mistake, but this could be turned into a pilot for NCIS - Boston and requiring Gibbs to be brought back to fix this crap…

It's kind of some secret squirrel shite that involves non-disclosure agreements, so I'll be general. DoD people get trained to operate in foreign countries and this is to see if they can hold up to interrogation by a foreign security service. It's run by DoD agents, but they'll use another agency to get a more accurate simulation. So, the actual DoD trainee probably had no idea what was happening because the FBI, who was playing the role of a foreign government, went to the wrong room. When these training scenarios happen, the time and place is a surprise to the trainee, but he knows immediately that it's a training exercise when he gets snatched out of bed or pulled out of his car on a traffic stop and to keep his story straight and his shite together. Who knows whether it was the DoD trainers, FBI, or hotel staff that screwed up, but that pilot is probably going to get a check for his troubles.

Can someone explain the shower treatment to me??

If I was to guess, I’d say part of the training involved searching the room.

They didn’t say the shower was on. If it was a standard hotel room, placing him in the shower in the bathroom while searching seems like a logical place to keep him secure.
