My daughter has pretty unique colored eyes. They are mostly green with specs that are almost gold.

My bright blue eyes have kind of faded into gray-blue with age.

Wife has hazel but all three daughters have bright blues.

Blue eyes in men are a symbol of superior intelligence, vision and big shlongs but they also tend to lie a lot.

Fun fact: chicken egg color is determined by the color of the chicken's ear lobe.

There was a study done in the early 2000s i Think that suggested people with lighter eyes have a higher tolerance for alcohol...They also linked this to people with lighter eyes having a higher tendency to abuse alcohol

I had someone try to convince me once that I could look at a welding arc without a shield because people with blue eyes can't get their eyes burned. I never tested the ole baw's theory.

Seriously. I'd be interested in the breakout of Europe & the US. About 43% of the world's population lives is in China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Japan and almost 0% of them have anything but brown eyes. The add in the 12-13% of the population that lives in sub-Saharan African where brown eyes are equally prevalent. That means the rest of the world must be much more heterogeneous.

My grandmother on my dads side had a blue eye and a brown one. This is extremely rare occurrence is called heterochromia. This is not her eyes but what they looked like. [/img]

I have green, husband has heterochromia, and son has blue. For the record, when speaking to my husband, I tend to look more at his blue eye. It results in me getting my way more often!

Science right there!

Blue-grey eyes here. Mom was green and Dad had those Paul Newman light blue eyes.

I have heterochromia. It’s funny when talking to someone and they notice for the first time. It’s as if they just saw Bigfoot. I always tell I have German Shepard in my family tree.

They originally tried to add hair color to that study, but they found less than 10% of women have their natural hair color.

Or I just made that up.
