Odd take. I’ve heard a dozen lawyers, including Mark Levin, comment that it takes a while to bring charges if the DA or AG is doing a thorough job. It takes so long because they are making sure the charges filed will stick. Rushing to charge someone is a good way to get an acquittal according to the guys I heard.

It seems on the surface that the officer in training was in training at the time and yet spoke up, but again, was in training at the time, and I cant see how that would make him complicit as a trainee, and besides, he clearly got a graduate level degree in what not to do in an arrest as a result, so he is probably better prepared going forward than any other officer in training in the country.
But alas, there is almost certainly no amount of rational that is going to get through the pressure cooker that is on Minneapolis right now to put all of them behind bars to calm this chaos, and so therein is the problem with the torch and pitchfork mentality. In their rush to seek justice for one, they could quite easily cause an injustice for another.

Just because you feel a certain way doesn't mean that you get to hand down what you think is justice.
Chauvin, POS and is more than likely going to jail for a max sentence. This guy, who did speak up, and the guy who was on crowd control, they are going to walk because the cases against them are flimsy, at best. haven't heard much on the other guy charged so I can't speak on that.
The prosecutors running this case are operating out of pure emotion and trying to appease a mob. It's completely within reason that they screw the pooch on this whole thing and they ALL walk. But no, they'll just keep changing charges and charging new people where they make it harder on themselves to prove guilt. Then are y'all gonna direct your ire at the DAs office or more innocent business owners and citizens?
