For the record, I believe Chauvin deserves time for this, but it will be incredibly difficult to get that charge to stick.
Dude, he is getting the max sentence allowed for his conviction... and rightfully so.

Fact homicide was committed. Fact there is minutes of body cam footage from more than 1 cop of bystanders protesting that they were killing a man in their custody. Fact 1 cop had to physically stop someone from intervening in the homicide. Fact even some of the cops are now on record questioning their actions at the time. All of this will be on the body cam.
These guys are boned lmao short of Chauvin saying “watch me kill this guy” there couldn’t be a stronger case against them based on facts alone. There is no reasonable explanation for the homicide of a man that had been 100% subdued, “we had a hard time getting him in the car” isnt a valid justification for homicide.

they were not arrested for use of approved tactics, rather homicide related charges. You’re allowed to shoot a gun, but not to kill someone who’s not a threat to you.
Jesus Christ you’re an idiot. You are not going to be able to convict the man of murder because he put his knee on a guys neck when the state explicitly states you are authorized to put your knee on the neck to restrain someone in custody. You can scream murder from now until eternity, but when the law says its legal and it was applied as a result of Floyd putting up a giant struggle, you’re not getting a conviction for intentional homicide. You may get him for being negligent that resulted in a death, but that’s it.

Lane was also new to the job, having been on the force for only four days when the incident occurred, his attorney, Earl Gray, claimed.
Gray said Lane twice asked Chauvin, a training officer, "Shall we roll him over?" He also expressed concern that Floyd may be in "delirium," Gray said.
NBC reported Lane provided CPR after, Chauvin removed his knee.

Damn that sucks for that guy. Im sure he felt like who was he to question his training officer but right is right and wrong is wrong. Gotta step in when you feel something is wrong.

Gloves off LC. I’m done tempering responses to your emotional and dramatic hissy fits here. Get it together.

Link to the part of the law that says this is an approved homicide tactic. It’s just patently unreasonable 1 handcuffed guy facedown on the ground can put up a legitimate struggle to argue lethality.
The jury will see minutes of body cam footage from multiple officers of a crowd gathering, protesting the homicide, and attempting to intervene in the homicide. There will be body cam footage of cops suggesting their actions were inappropriate in real time.
you can cry all you want that they had a hard time getting him in the car but no reasonable person would believe homicide is an appropriate response.

Shame he didn’t push chauvin off to perform CPR, As one citizen had the sense to try to intervene. Maybe 4 cops wouldn’t be incarcerated if he had the balls to uphold the law and stop colleague from homicide

Jesus fricking Christ, what job have you ever held where you have had the gall to pipe up and publicly correct your onboarding coworker/superior less than a week into your job?
That is a pure lose/lose situation for someone who has zero perspective on the situation at hand.
Chauvin is a piece of shite, but you're a worthless hippocrit.

If you’re off shore and you see your trainer doing something that will endanger the life of others, you stop it. Sure, others might have resentment towards you for it, but is a job worth a life? If you’re an officer and you see your trainer literally killing someone for 8 fricking minutes, you stop him.

There is NO excuse for not stopping Chauvin for literally strangling someone to death for almost 9 mins

I’m a grown arse man, not the 19 year old who use to play MW2 and BLOPS with you. You don’t have to “temper” anything to me. Also, don’t pick one part out of what I quoted which obviously wasn’t what I was talking about. It’s pretty clear that my too bad comment was towards the rookie officer being charged.

Okay. Perhaps I misconstrued the intent of your post, but if you want to the truth ..
you made a post here about being pulled over and having a pistol visible in your cup holder and whined about the police officers being upset and treating you poorly. that being your idea of an example of racial injustice. A grown arse man would understand and could admit that incident was a mistake of his own.

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the others didnt know he was "literally strangling" him?

Oof. I’d mark this up as a sign you’re in the wrong career field.

From the very article they were concerned that he was going into some type of medical episode. So, while it did occur that maybe they didn’t know, from the officers statement itself, shows that they were aware that something was wrong.

The officers knew he was dying

You mean the post where I say I have both my hands on my steering wheel, and literally conversating with one officer, who saw my firearm in the cup holder and wasn’t alarmed? This officer was a state trooper, and the one who completely panicked was a boondocks cop in a small town/city. Whatever Proof. You feel how you feel. I feel how i feel. We have had different experiences in life. Enjoy your night brother.

Doesn't mean they knew the guy was dying.
They'll have a hard time convicting the rookie cop.
