Ex-Minneapolis cop told other officers 'you shouldn't do this' during Floyd's arrest

One of the four former Minneapolis police officers charged in George Floyd's death tried to warn his fellow officers during the arrest, his attorney claimed in court Thursday.
The man, J. Alexander Kueng, hadn't yet completed his third full shift as a police officer when the deadly arrest occurred, his attorney, Tom Plunkett, claimed. Plunkett said Kueng told his fellow officers as they were detaining Floyd, "You shouldn't do that."
Kueng was in court Thursday along with former Officers Tou Thao and Thomas Lane after they were charged Wednesday with aiding and abetting murder, as well as aiding and abetting manslaughter.
A fourth former officer, Derek Chauvin, was charged with second-degree murder after video showed that Chauvin placed his knee on Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes while Floyd was being detained on May 25.
Lane was also new to the job, having been on the force for only four days when the incident occurred, his attorney, Earl Gray, claimed.
Gray said Lane twice asked Chauvin, a training officer, "Shall we roll him over?" He also expressed concern that Floyd may be in "delirium," Gray said.
"What is my client supposed to do other than follow what the training officer said?" Gray asked in court.

They really messed up imo charging these other cops. When they walk, because they will, especially this guy, does all the rioting start back up?

Especially this guy. It's his third full shift, and he was seemingly out with Chauvin as a training officer. I don't know that it makes much sense to charge him.

Shouldnt go as hard on him..but unfortunately for him, nobody is allowed to care for branding of "racist".

Stop making sense! Liberal mental gymnastics are hard enough as it is.

Damn, how you get fired when you haven't even got a chance to finish training yet. That has gotta suck. I really don't think any major charges will stick for the other 3 guys, tbh. Chauvin is definitely serving time. The others might get a nice slap on the wrist.

You do understand there is a chain of command right and the guy in question is literally in training right? For starters he’s depending on Chauvin for guidance here because he literally doesn’t know. So if you are 3 days on the job and you ask you superior for guidance, are you supposed to deck him at that point? The dumbass AG is going to ensure they all walk because he’s more interested in trying to give the rioters a pound of flesh.

That Chauvin was "training" new officers is just a whole new fricked up level.

if you think any of them are walking. They were recorded by a small crowd shouting they were killing the man, sparking multi city riots.
Sucks that a fresh cop knew better but was too weak willed to do enough to Stop a homicide... Even one of the horrified bystanders tried to intervene in the homicide, but one of the cop-criminals stopped that. I’m sure officers have at least 1 day in class where protocol for dealing with a rogue colleague, looks like at least 3 skipped that day unfortunately.

It’s wonderful that you are all for vigilante justice and all, but until all of the evidence is presented justice will not be served. The first thing that’s gonna happen is a change of venue thanks in part to the retard mob ensuring they can’t get a fair and impartial jury in Minneapolis... I’ve seen more than my fair share of these cop cases play out going all the way back to Rodney King. You’ve gotta convict them beyond a reasonable doubt which is never a slam dunk.

Sure he did.
fricker trying to get woke points before he goes to trial. What a piece of shite.

Does he not know that murder is wrong? Gtfo with this “new on the job” bullshite. You don’t have to be a seasoned vet to know that murdering a guy is wrong.
