Thats a weird charge and I hate that. It does sometimes feel like restaurants are trying to get you out so they can get a new tab.

When I visit Mediterranean countries the opposite is true. It's like they expect you to occupy a table for four hours drinking wine and socializing. It's fun, but tiring trying to get a damn check. Must be the U.S. in me wanting to rush things and not just relaxing.

Kenny's in Addison. I've gone there multiple times and always enjoy it. I was truly surprised.

If they charged you for extra steaks and drinks would you pay that too? Why do you think it is OK to get charged for stuff you didn't order?

So you got tokens for a gaming machine you didn't use in the back room and you are mad about it? That's what I consider leisure time.

I'm not a "I need to speak to the manager" person, but I would have been in this case.

Someone cannot charge you for something you never agreed to pay for. If it didn't state that this was a charge on the menu or a sign by the entrance, frick that.

It’s a popular restaurant in the area. It’s got a limited number of tables.

Yes, I would be bothered by the charge if they did not disclose it previously

Did you ask what it was or just paid it?

When did the main course hit the table?

This is a detail not given by the OP.

How long did they hang around taking up table space after they were finished ordering?

That's interesting because taxes somehow always show up on my tabs.

I usually roll my eyes at the tipping threads but, this is BS. The $15 is all he would get.

I got upcharged 2% for 'Employees Health Insurance' on my bill at a nicer restaurant in Five Points. At first I was mad, but then I realized it was probably some selling technique for the libtards who usually eat there. Anyway, I knocked 2% off my tip.

You know you're going to pay taxes on every purchase you make in the US and somehow you're surprised every time?
