96 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee with no A/C back from 2005-2009 in that Baton Rouge heat and then a little while in NOLA. Drove it until 2012 and the heat had gone out by then while I was living in DC.
I’ll still roll down my windows in my car today because it’s what I got used to during those days

Worse than that. My lil bro had a Toyota Celica a long time ago that had over heating issues, so we would actually have to turn the heater on to draw heat off the engine.
We called it the Hot Box Lol.

My 97 Ford Ranger didn't even have a/c. Surprisingly, you get used to it

My ‘06 Jeep Wrangler is without AC right now.

In the late 90s I had one where the AC didn't work and the drivers side window would not roll down and yes, it was a Honda Accord.

AC in my truck went out last year of college. Was too much to sink into that truck, so just waited until I could by myself a new vehicle. I did have to go to work for like a week in June before I bought the new ride. I borrowed a car every chance I could to not show up sweating through my clothes first thing in the morning.

The AC never worked or went out in all the shitty cars I drove back in high school and college. I was used to it back then. Now, I couldn’t go 1 day without a fully functioning AC.

I'm 76. Most of my daily drivers before 1979 had no A/C.

I had lil Nissan frontier Crew Cab that the AC went out. Drove that thing for 2 years with no AC. At the time I was an iron worker too, sweat my arse off all day till I got home.

Yep, high school and college.

Ah, yes, the old 480; four windows down at 80 mph, had many back in the day.

Never drove a vehicle with a broken A/C.
Had a summer job delivering lost luggage from the airport. Was able to use one of two trucks. There was an Isuzu that had A/C, but no radio, and a Nissan with a stereo but no A/C. I always took the stereo.

87 Camry. Drive it to work in Nola in dress clothes.
Sometimes I’d forget to roll up the windows at night. In the morning there’d be a swarm of mosquitoes in it.
Good times

This one...as a teen in South Carolina and Louisiana. I remember when I first moved to Natchitoches and was working at the Western Auto in 1980 changing tires, etc. after school. It seemed like every day after work that summer the bank time/temp sign in town said 100+ as I drove by after work.

My first 2 cars
1968 Torino
1977 Cutlass
both had 2X70 AC
Drove the cutlass during the summer of 1980. One of the hottest on record.

That’s badass man

My 93 Z71 didn’t have AC for the last two years I drove it in the early 2000s. Never really bothered me. Probably would kill me now

My daughter’s car currently doesn’t have AC.
Her mom got her the car and I’m pretty sure it has a Freon leak.
