LSU Football landed a commitment from offensive tackle Amaziah Siale on Monday afternoon.

Siale was previously committed to Cal before flipping his verbal pledge to the Tigers following a visit to Baton Rouge over the weekend.

Originally from Kapa'a, Hawaii, Siale now plays at Mission Viejo High School in California after transferring to the national powerhouse program. He is 6-6, 350 pounds, giving him the massive frame that college programs covet at offensive tackle.

Siale missed his junior season due to transfer-eligibility rules, but his upside has still attracted significant attention. He is currently ranked as a three-star prospect.

Almost all of them seem to be either OL or DL. They tend to be talented, too.

I think they said he was from Hawaii, not Samoa

With all this flip talk, OT Amaziah Siale is not a name I'm familiar with. I wonder how many more of these diamonds in the rough that Lane and company have on flip watch?

Nobody will complain about short arms with him. Looks like he can scratch his knees with those things standing straight.

All you can do is have faith that a young man like that will take his conditioning seriously. Good weight vs bad weight. 350 is a big Ole baw for a hs

I think one thing everybody needs to realize is with all the additional scholarships now we just gotta get bodies bodies bodies. Big numbers are going to be to our advantage not only for depth, but because there will be some stars that rise out of those numbers.

Dang. I can’t find the GIF of Nic Cage on the phone going “Is it Kapa’a or Kapa’a’a?” in the great Honeymoon in Vegas. When I went to Kapa’a in 2005, I tried to find the phone booth.
