Ever contemplated becoming an expat and moving to another country?

If so, where do you want to go? Not just a dream of yours, you have seriously considered it.

I've not only seriously considered it, but I've done it. Moved to Beijing for 3 years after school.

I signed up for info for moving and becoming a citizen of New Zealand. Looks awesome but I have zero idea of what I would do for work.

No, but I have contemplated moving to another state to escape the crap that I have to deal with in this one.

Virgin Islands (British or U.S.)

I've moved to Texas and also to the DC area. Both are different countries than LA and generally better ones too.

I think about it a little for the future. We can take 2 or 4 year assignments all over the globe, but I'm not going to really consider it until the kids are off to college.
They pay will be really nice and I like experiencing new places and cultures.

I have seriously considered it and looked I to a handful of countries.
Had HC won the election I was contemplating moving to NZ, enough so that I was applying for jobs.

New Zealand and Portugal are hot retirement locales

Yeah. When Trump was elected. Uhh, I mean when Obama was elected. Errr, no. Emphatically no.
Been trying to convince my wife we buy a beach house on some island, but she wants to hang around "for the kids". Nevemind the kids have their own lives and never come anyway.

I have a dual citizenship with Australia. Seriously considered moving there about 6 years ago.
My wife is Thai and we are mulling over the idea of possibly moving there some day. Her family has a lot of land that she would inherit.

As mentioned before, I moved to Australia for five years (2000-2005). I had permanent residency, but never went the full citizenship route although I was eligible to. The main reason I went was because INS SNAFUed my wife's (no pics) paperwork for residency in the United States. I was 20 years old, so I figured what the hell. Some of the best years of my life. We decided to move back to the U.S. to pursue opportunities that arose. We took our time, got the paperwork completed, and moved back, with the wife getting full U.S. citizenship in 2008. I learned a lot about life. I never regretted it. I wouldn't think about it now being older and with kids. I only did it because we were young.

If I didn't have such a big family, I'd consider it. Argentina, Uruguay, Chile...sounds nice and right up my alley.

Nah, America is tGOAT.
That fact that there’s 4 (so far) tards that downvoted your post is pathetic on so many levels. I’m wondering if those 4 freaks would prefer to live in Venezuela or any other country that without America, would not exist as we know it.
You can about imagine what group/affiliation of pajamaboy crowd downvoted.
