more players are hitting the portal than some fans expected, especially considering that one of the reasons Durkin was retained was to prevent transfers (according to some Bunker posters). Some of those fans also think Golesh is being tight on the money side, causing some of these players to consider the portal.
So finally to my question. Why would Golesh be tight on the money when it’s not coming out of his salary ?

^^^^average of 30+ posts per day, every day for 6 years, the vast majority which are about Alabama, and he can’t imagine being that “ate” up.

Not necessarily so. I haven’t been there in a long time because I spend most of my time at one of the active Alabama boards but Rivals has or at least had for years a very active board of all teams fans. It is/was moderated and all the posters know/knew that if you talk trash you will be suspended or banned.
ETA that’s just one example. There have been others.

You can’t have missed all the negative and discussions about Kiffin in print , radio, and televised nationwide. Your team just happened to be the one that hired him. Auburn caught flak for Freeze too, due to his unsavory reputation, but not this bad

We obviously have no running game so honestly probably don’t deserve it. Better luck next year with Crowell and hopefully an improved offensive line
