But the protest that Gravy, Helmet Head, and Kibbles and Bits was poorly attended on Saturday. I talked to an officer today who worked the protest and said that only 16 people showed up. They had 25 police officers there. He said Gravy had to pay for the permit and the OT for the 25 police officers.

How can they afford to spend $12k on a conference trip when they have 5,000 needy seniors on a waiting list, need an $8 million/year tax increase for funding, and Dytasha had to take out personal loans to make payroll?

This sounds great looking at it, but what if the conference taught them something to be more efficient and improve overall performance?

Repeal the tax and LOCK EM UP!

What else is left to find on them now?
There's more! Like changing the payee name on a check so it could be used for PAC money. There's more folks and its criminal!

it apparently did not teach them ripping off the elderly is not something the COA should engage in

If this conference trip is about learning to be more efficient and improving COA's performance, then why isn't Dytasha registered for the upcoming Louisiana COA conference that's being held in Baton Rouge? Seems like this one would be the conference for a supposedly financially strapped COA chapter to send someone to since they wouldn't have to worry about any travel costs.

Lol to you if you think government agencies taking tax dollars to take lavish trips for themselves is something only pertaining to Baton Rouge.
Since governments never have to meet a bottom line, they can essentially do whatever they want.
I've had trips cancelled before because of budget and monetary issues.

step 1 for a more efficient COA....If you're under budget issues and have a long waiting list of seniors in need of help, it would probably be wise to slash un-needed spending

If they did that then how are they suppose to make their Mercedes payments?

That's where the executor fees come in.

So what is the status on all the issues that have been drummed up at the COA? Is there currently an investigation into all of these issues, or are they just trying to keep quiet and hope all of this goes away?

Ms. Clark-Amar drives a black escalade. You can see it when you pass the COA in the first spot on the left side of the building.

Such advanced concepts aren't covered until the next convention, in Vegas.

please tell me this is true

Might have been somewhat true before the GSA scandal, but definitely not now. It's a PITA to get anything approved now.

No way that's true. Gary can't even afford to live on his own and does all his filming in the front seat of his car. You really think he can afford to pay OT for 25 cops?

I don't know of any formal investigations. I suspect there are some folks that will pressure the GOEA to conduct a review even though they let her off the first time.
Does anyone know how the council vote works for approval of the tax? Does it have to be unanimous?
