For Sale - 2 Tickets to St Paul and the Broken Bones - Tipitinas Saturday April 27
Posted by TigerRob20 on 4/17/24 at 8:40 am
Two tickets for sale, looking for face value ($114 total for both).
These were an artist presale, so if you'd like them, I would add your name to the tickets and you pick up at Will Call at the event. I wish there was an easier way to digitally transfer the tickets, but there isn't.

Sure would be great if they could continue that new road north to Valley Street and up towards Acadian Thruway......
Also, an on ramp at the end of Constitution to go eastbound on I 10 would be a wonderful way to skip College Drive.

Can you convert RAW to JPG on Mac? I know there is a feature in the Quick Actions menu of finder to convert to JPG. '

Probably using this as a reason to end his lease early......
You aren't going to see RX to Geaux close because of this.

Could take the Bustang to Frisco and uber down to breck. We have taken it a few times, and it isn't bad.
One way is $12 a person

re: What is the best self propelled lawnmower?
Posted by TigerRob20 on 4/1/22 at 9:43 am to The Spleen
I'll say I've used Honda and Toro both extensively, and the toro self propelled mechanism is much easier to use and work on vs the Honda.
The Honda relies on you to use your thumbs to engage, where the toro you are pushing with your arms. I found my wrists starting to hurt after 30-45 min of using the Honda.
Just my two cents. I currently have a 30" Toro Timemaster, and its the best mower I've ever owned.

king cakes are usually like a brioche cinnamon roll. But that looks pretty good, IWEI.
The beignets look kinda heavy than they would typically be.

re: Smart switches and locks for new construction
Posted by TigerRob20 on 2/24/22 at 1:30 pm to LEASTBAY
We just installed a bunch of Legrand smart switches and while they were hard to get running at first, they have worked well. The main issue was getting them set up on a 2.4GHZ network, so I just made a dedicated network for them only. They work great with HomeKit, and they sell others that support Alexa and Google Home.
In addition to these, I have some LIFX bulbs for lamps that work great. No hub needed and they are relatively stable once connected.
Also, we have a Level smart lock, which I believe was made by the company who came out with August Lock. Its a smart deadbolt that replaces your existing deadbolt, so no keypad or anything exterior.

I've literally been getting a companion pass every two years between me and my wife for the last 12 years.
You can get 50-80k bonus miles on some of their cards, and then turn around and get the business version to earn the missing points.
You want to do this ASAP since the year just started. Companion passes are good for the year they are earned and the next calendar year. So it behooves you to earn as fast as you can at the beginning of a year.

Paying $150 a month for unlimited data and 300/10. Can't wait until AT&T Fiber is available in my neighborhood.

Portofino doesn't have a lazy river, but they do have a trampoline park out in the bay. You can also take the boat from their dock to the retail area near the main bridge, where they have go karts, parasailing, etc.

Obviously anything that is dry clean only (suits, dresses, etc.)
I have about half non-iron button down shirts and half that are wrinkled to hell when they come out of the dryer. I prefer just to bring all my stuff that would need to be ironed to the cleaners because I hate to iron.
