Follow along class.
Lets say they left for Chicago on Friday and made their return flight Saturday morning as the base.
So that's 5 Individuals for 8 nights at $70 per Diem with $209 (lowest comp room in SF) per room.
(a) Assuming all individuals receive a room then for one night it would be; 5 x $209 = $1,045
- Room expense for the duration of the assumed stay; 9 x $1,045 = $9,405
(b) The per Diem per day is; 5 x $70 = $350
- Per Diem for the duration of assumed stay; $350 x 9 = $3,150
So, alone a + b = $12,555
(c) Assuming each flew First class at a round trip cost of $1200 (devils advocate) ; 5 x $1,200 = $6,000
Now, a + b + c = $18,555
They only reported $12,000. That's a discrepancy of $6,555. That's a lot of missing receipts.

And down the rabbit hole we go. Fat arse grimace should have kept her mouth shut and most of this wouldn't be happening. Her ego and feeling of being untouchable got her into this mess

I've already posted this, but your assumptions are pretty far off. Where are you getting 8 nights? It was a 4 day conference.
Hyatt Regency - 4,214.43 - Comes to 210.72/person/night
Meals - $1,750 - $70/person/day
Registration - $2,925 Appears to be $585/person
Which leaves a balance of $3,110.57. If that is all for airfare, then they paid $622.11 for the flights per person.
There is still one check totaling $2,933.75 that I can't tell who the payee is. (that could be the airline though, that would make sense)

I'm confused what you're trying to post here. They stayed for 5 nights and flew coach. The issue is not with nefarious expenses. But with the idea that this was a necessary expense.

We're confused as well.
Well, not really confused as to why they're doing what they're doing, but confused at how they're still employed.

Rather damming that Clark-Amar is too afraid to show her face among her COA peers in the state.

She knows she can spin her bullshite to the public, who generally knows very little about the COA and how it operates. Other COA folks know damn well what she's doing/has done is completely obscene. I don't blame her for not showing her face. I wouldn't either.
Writing yourself as the executrix of the estate of someone in your care to the tune of $125k is something most other COA members would never even attempt yet they're watching this woman not only survive it, but sue the family for calling her out on it. The view from other COA members from across the state has to be nothing but contempt and disgust.

I would bet my life the rest of the story is in the credit card statements and the reimbursement records (which will lead to the reimbursement checks). It's clear these people are morons,
Plus, they only got so much information in that FOIA response but I'm telling you. Once they open up ALL of the books it's lights out for a lot of people.

The amount they spent is not the problem, well within the states guidelines. They can spend up to 25% more per night of the allocated amount of $175. Then you add up various taxes and occupancy tax and your looking at $240 per night.
If the conference is for 5 days probably an extra day in the beginning or end as well. Trip is beginning and return to domicile. So if they left BTR at 6am the day before the conference for travel time and get settled it's very common.
Not to mention depends on airline, they would have to pay for luggage or extra luggage. Then you have car rental, parking fees, if not, then you have taxis, uber, etc...
I'm shocked they only spent $12,000. It adds up fast.
But the point is shouldn't be making those kind of trips when the budget is so strapped.

Yes, and I wonder what exactly they brought back from that conference that they applied to the EBRCOA. At a time where they claim they were taking out loans to make payroll, they're going to conferences? It's a joke.

this happens at every level of government, and usually waste even more of tax payers funds.

Well then I guess this is a non-story... just like all the other shite that the CoA has done recently.

Just bring in the fricking FEDS and end this shite.

Yes all while demanding we pay more taxes. When will the tax payers wake the hell up and burn these thieves at the stake?

will anything finally happen to these crooks?

A while back, I would have said no. Slap on the wrist and move on, nothing to see here.
But it honestly seems that every week something new comes out of the woodwork, and it doesn't seem that it will slow down any time soon. Even the people who defended her and the COA at first have disappeared.

That's where the media needs to step up their game and out these people.
Unfortunately, there is a balance that needs to be struck. People get "scandal fatigue" and just get numb to what's going on. I just hope Nak keeps going and the EBRCOA is destroyed and the tax repealed.

Wonder what's up with that? One will never know what goes on in that scrambled egg for a brain she has.

Dytarsha be thanking e'rreone that contributed towards her per diem daily allowance.
She is going to post a review of her favorite Chicago restaurants, which include The Purple Pig, Joe's, Dytarsha and the Goat and Bavette's (a sneak peak, she said the steaks were to "steal" for).

It's called arrogance and entitlement.
