Managers have it better, but we get long-term stock options, typically in the 10-20% range, annual bonus of up to 20%, and 401k matching up to 10%. Insurance is pretty good, I pay 250 per month for the entire family, that includes dental and vision.
Been here almost 4 years and I have saved everything except the bonuses for retirement.

Nurse - thats not bad for health care. Unless the pay really sucks. No one at my hospital got raises for 5 years, unless they got promoted.
The pay isn't horrible by any means. And my position has very good job security (I can easily stay in my position until I retire if I want). I just know other hospitals in the area pay more. But...they aren't linked to AZ Retirement plan so that could be why.
We didn't get raises for a couple years as well.

Yes. Went up 25% for yoy 16-17. We are owned by a huge insurance company out of the UK. Our company makes up 16% of their portfolio. The esop plan takes into account all assets owned by our mother company, not just us.
I question some of these privately held ESOP valuations, but as long as you get out and get paid what they say, an inflated valuation is irrelevant to you.

pensions are pretty rare these days.
Posted on 1/23/19 at 9:49 am to CatsGoneWild
the company I retired from had all of those benefits including pension, health, life and dental insurance, matching 401k, plus several others including paid retiree medical for retiree and spouse. But for those who work there now the paid retiree medical is no longer, and neither is the pension. There is still life, health, dental and a few other insurances, and matching 401k. Fortunately I was in the last group that received the pension, and my wife and I take advantage of the retiree medical.

No pension.
401k match 5% on 6% employee contribution with a 4% lump employer contribution at the end of the year (only 3% this year though for some reason)
Up to 15% Bonus possibility based on earnings. Usually about 10%
15% discount on company stock through ESPP up to 10% of salary.
Typically awarded about 15% of salary in restricted stock each year. Typically as it's at manager's discretion, but I've gotten in for the last 6 years.

I have a 401K with 6% matching, good medical/dental, a small bonus that increases every year and as of right now I get 12 days PTO per year, but that also increases every year. I'm pretty happy overall!

I've been with my company 10 years.
Good salary (annual 2.5-3% increases)
Great health benefits
Match 6% on my 401K
Then, they deposit another 5% of my salary into my 401K every January as part of "profit sharing". So, if I am contributing 6%, they will contribute 11%.
Annual bonus valued at "Up to 14%" of my salary BUT.... They used to pay it out in March in 1 lump sum. They don't do that anymore. The company has grown a lot over the last 3-4 years and taken on a ton of new debt and head count.
Now, They pay us in 3 installments, over the course of 3 years and it's now called a "retention bonus" but still... you have to figure that into your annual income. They give you the month and year of when your next payment is set to be paid out.
I get about 27 or 28 days PTO for the year.
They pay for my cell phone.

Solid 401K. Bonus of less than 2% with terrible insurance. 100 vacation hours and 60 sick time. I love my job, but some of the "perks" are very lacking
