No pension and a small annual bonus. Good insurance, 401k with match up to 6% and I get 30 days of PTO per year.

This is the OT. We're all self insured. Stock options make up the majority of my compensation

Like shite.

No pension. No insurance. No 401k. No nothing.

But I get paid fairly well to screw around on tiger droppings 50-60 hours a week.

Only reason I'm still there is I made a promise to a buddy I wouldn't leave before 3 years.

Cigna insurance. 401k and ESOP plan. ESOP plan has never gone down year over year and averages 15% yoy growth since the 70’s. Company puts in 12-15% of your annual income into your retirement.

No bonuses
4 week vacay. 1 week rolls over if you want
6 days sick time
I’m in sales.

Had a pension until they froze it about 5 years ago. Have 401k. Ins is bad compared to a few years ago. Get a bonus check for how many years of service (get paid in days, but uncle Sam takes 40 percent)

They match 100% of my contributions up to 5% and then do a profit sharing 401k contribution of 1% to 3%. So not bad. Not awesome, but I’m fine with it. It’s market for the industry.

Bonuses are highly dependent on what you do. My role is incentive comp heavy but others aren’t. Just depends. My target is 50% of base if we hit our goals. Moves down quite quickly if we don’t though. Some upside if we exceed them but not huge. Usually not worth the effort to exceed 105-110% of plan. We do a good job of threading the needle into the sweet spot. Lol

Good Salary
20-60% bonus
401k contribution (not a match just give it to you, usually 8-10% of salary)
Insurance is just ok
No vacation limits

No pension but they match up to 5% of salary for 401k contributions, subsidize a large portion of medical insurance (and it's great insurance.. specialists, physical therapy, and even nutritionists are covered with a copay), vision and dental are fine. Free $50k life insurance policy. Non-sales personnel get an annual bonus of 5% of their salary or more if you're outstanding and deserve a merit increase. Depending on your boss and your standing within the company, hours are very flexible. Just get the work done and be available if shite hits the fan. I work from home most of the time now, in fact.

pension

Pretty much only government workers get these nowadays.

401k

It seems like companies are matching less and less with these.

good insurance

Most employees share to pay rises every year, usually more than the cost of living wages %.

bonuses

Maybe still ok for some.

And with all this, you'll see most older people will have to work later and later in life, since little to no retirement guarantee is present.

Pension. Match 80% of 6% contribution for 401k. Good Insurance. Guaranteed at least a 10% of salary bonus but has been +16% the past two years (based on company performance). Maximum $540 credited to my HSA if I do some easy online “quizzes” and health tracking. Company truck, cell phone, and meals during work hours are paid for. Plus I’m cut a check at the rate of $1.18 for each hour of overtime I worked the previous year. Been about a $3-400 check the past few years.

No pension but full matching 401K.
Tiered annual performance bonus (possible 50, 100, or 200%)
Quarterly incentive
Company truck with fuel card

As for insurance, my wife caries our health insurance. She works for the state and their BC/BS plan is awesome. I carry our eye & dental.
My company provides life insurance on myself and my family. Thry also provide me short term disability coverage as well.

We are grandfathered into the AZ State Retirement plan...100% match once 10 years vested. Checked my account balance right before I reached 10 years and right after...it had doubled.

But I think because of that...our hospital thinks they can pay us less. Other hospitals pay their staff a little better. No bonuses ever. Pay raise is maybe 2-3% a year depending on your annual review.

Health insurance used to be better but it isn't horrible. I think I pay like $130-140 a month for just myself after getting a $50 per pay period discount for participating in their wellness plan (Vitality).

ETA: Our vacation time is all one bank (PTO)is based on how long we have been there. I get like 16 hours of PTO a month. Plus 14 holidays a year. And 40 hours of sick time a year. And around 8 hours a month going into my extended leave bank (that is used for FMLA qualifying events). Been there 11 years and have like 450 hours in there alone...which will be nice if I ever get pregnant for maternity leave.
