Amongst the white-collar folks who were sent home to WFH, there was a noticeable uptick in outside interaction. People were hanging out together, having get-togethers with neighbors they had never met. It was brief, but there was definitely a change, even if for a short while. Post 9-11'ish, when America got super Patriotic, and then turned on each other.

Yes. I miss the kids playing outside. They like to ride their bikes on my driveway. I wouldn't shoot them! Chairs in the driveway having a glass of wine. Walking dogs because we were bored.

Two of our kids are walking dogs now. They ride bikes every day. We have a fire pit and chairs that we use weekly. No Covid required. Give it a shot!

spirit of community

I felt that spirit as I was having my job and my rights threatened. So fricking wholesome and good watching an entire country commit the economic suicide and transfer of wealth upwards we are now dealing with.

Hey genius, can you provide a copy of peer reviewed white papers or research proving masks work? Didn’t think so. You stay fearful my friend…

OP has to be a troll.

The pandemic shutdown was the largest transfer of wealth in American history.

It increased depression, anxiety, substance dependence, and suicide to the highest levels in American history.

It pushed more people into poverty and misery and conflict with their own family members than ever before.

So, no I don’t miss it.

Gaucho's identity swing as a welder baw to pussified liberal must have been pretty hard and mentally.

Kinda like when his cousin couldn't get his fibromyalgia medicine and just couldn't get out of bed. Prayers up for both of y'all.

I never "stayed inside and saved lives" so the one thing that I miss is deserted freeways. During the height of the pandemic, I drove from one end of The Strip to the other in 15 minutes. Normally, you're lucky if you got go 3 blocks in 15 minutes.

People still die every day and millions of Americans are suffering from long Covid yet nobody will even put on a mask to keep others safe

I cough in your general direction.
