Yea I always see 3 in my gym with one on. One is a young black lady. One is a black middle aged guy. The other is a 30ish white woman and hers says black lives matter on it.

Spending the last 11 months going to a cancer clinic I saw a lot of them, but I can’t recall seeing one just out in public. It’s been a while.

I see them wearing them under their chin. I don’t get it either because that shite is uncomfortable. So obviously they’re trying to make a statement because they’re not worried about the virus, if they’re wearing it under their chin.

Saw a dude (white, mid-60s) wearing one in the Huntsville, AL Sam’s Club (the one right off 231 on the south part of town) just this past Saturday.

It's old people 90 percent of the time, what few there are here. We had one 20-ish guy with a long ponytail that wore one every day where I work, but we haven't seen him for awhile. And he gave off "odd duck" vibes anyway.

I live mostly in SE Asia, so yeah all the time … and from my understanding, it was pretty commonplace here to wear masks (esp when sick) for a large portion of the population, many years before C19 .

Yeah same here. Now it feels less like panic and more like people just staying home when sick became socially acceptable.

I average around once per week. Typically they're driving solo in the car and gives me a good belly laugh.

COVID was a real eye opener for me on how dumb we are as a populace.

Flu went from 20 million cases to 1800 the same year as the boogey head cold virus emerged and no one could make the correlation. We traded donuts for mystery and experimental cocktails injected into them, thought masking would prevent it, and followed arrows in grocery stores for bug with a 99.9% survival rate.

Well done.

Yes. And often outside, which is confusing.

I’ll chalk it up to allergy prevention.

Only when I have to run to Walmart. It’s usually morbidly obese black people.

Eta: might not be a good population sample because 99% of the people in there are morbidly obese black people.

I work at a hospital in the Hood. I see it everyday. I still occasionally see people driving with masks on in their car.

Very rarely and when I do see I just assume they are immunocompromised and/or dealing with cancer or something of the sort.

I still have a couple in my office that wear masks almost daily.

Also see it around town here and there.

Very strange, and I assume they will do it for the rest of their lives at this point.
