“8647”. Would it be an actionable crime if Comey or anyone else posted “Kill Trump” on social media?

Yeah, let’s just play that stud Reaves out there.
Schmidt was 7-0 as a freshman. Had a couple of bad outings in SEC.

Schmidt has to give you more than 4 innings/2 ER. With the bullpen being a disaster, you need 6 from him.

Concur with this statement. However, he was still the most effective pitcher over the weekend. If the others had come even close to this we would have won two or three games.
Bubba Wallace has wrecked a lot more than 40 cars.

You seem fairly knowledgeable about baseball, but maybe I have been wrong. If you can’t acknowledge that average or good catching will prevent a significant number of wild pitches, when compared to poor catching, I don’t know what to tell you.

Same w defense in the field. If you can’t acknowledge that average or good defense will lead to fewer balls being scored as hits, when compared to poor defense, I don’t know what to say.
quote:

The improvement at catcher will naturally come from the pitchers improving. We're setting wild pitch records right now. Those the are pitches too bad for the catchers to even get to.

The reason we have such a high number of wild pitches is because the catchers cannot execute a basic chest block of balls in the dirt. The ball gets by and the pitcher is charged w wild pitch. An average catcher would have made the block. This is equivalent to an infielder who is too slow to reach a ground ball. There is no error on the play and the pitcher is charged with a hit, whereas as an average infielder with mobility would field the ball for an out.

Good catchers and good defense are what provides a chance to have excellent pitchers. Look at the support Andersen and Evanston had in both areas last year.

Yeah, we had runner in first w no outs and batter gets a scorching hit to the RF corner. Our runner on first got all the way to second base. Unbelievable. The runner ended up scoring so coach was bailed out.

I believe the coach was running scared based on JJ quote from the previous night about making first or third out at 3b. Even the coaches are stressed out and it’s affecting their play.

He didn't hit this weekend and yes, had the error Sunday but so did Milam and there was a 3rd error that inning leading to the 5 unearned runs.

I guess you forgot about Yorke’s error in the first inning Saturday that put LSU in a 2-0 hole??? And we lost the game.

He is not nimble enough to play good defense. I won’t even mention offense. Everyone else on the team that is underperforming has to sit for a while to regroup. Why does Yorke have different standards applied for him.

how those outs are made is not particularly relevant.

False. A ball in play even if not a hit can advance runners, produce RBIs, creates the potential for errors, etc. A ball in play is almost always better than a strikeout.

Is Yorke DHing? Does the defense of his position not matter at all?

Have you been watching the games? Am not dissing on any player in particular, but I will say that our defensive play at 1b has sucked. Cost us many runs. For instance, the missed pop up in foul territory today because of lack of mobility did not score as an error, but extended the inning and gave them three runs. Can you not see this?

But his counterpart for UK was not even close to as good as their Friday night guy.

Schmidt gave up zero runs tonight. We won the game because of this. What does it matter what their pitcher did last night?

Cornyn can thank his good "buddy," Thune.

Yes. Thune will lose three rinos for sure this November — Cornyn, Cassidy, and Thillis. Hopefully a couple more I am not thinking of. Perhaps they will vote that cocksucker weasel out of his leader role.
Put two and two together:

Verge was here as Asst AD when Wade was ousted. Probably some hard feelings about this. I would not be surprised if Verge is opposed to rehiring Wade because of this.

Wade insists Schroyer be hired as Asst AD in charge of basketball program. This resolves his conflict w Verge.

Speculation: Has Verge been so insistent about not hiring Wade that the Gov and Rouse went and got Schroyer as a workaround, eventually to be Verge’s replacement? Bring him on as Asst AD now and then make the change later.
