Yea I watched that Ted talk during the work from home period also, why are you trying to pass this off as an original thought?

Just last night we were having a discussion about nitrate loading with beetroot shots as a vasodilator to reduce lactic acid burn.

I'm more surprised he isn't crying about this topic not being on the Health/Fitness Board.

Damn, you act as if you know what the Krebs cycle is, but you can't read a few simple sentences without a comprehension issue.

Honestly, I have never seen that Ted Talk, as for being an original thought it is FAR from it the Krebs cycle has been known for "ever" and I learned it in biology 30 years ago. It is one of those simple facts that not everyone knows (understands), like the weight of a compressed spring weighs more than a relaxed spring.

If you want a mind fricky biology question not many realize:

The oxygen in CO2 you exhale has nothing to do with the oxygen you inhale.

When you starve yourself of carbohydrates and take in less than the calories you need for daily metabolism, you will metabolize fat for caloric needs. That's where fat goes. Fat is a store of excess calories for future needs.
