I have two. One was a wedding gift to my grandparents who were married in 1946. Still works but needs some work. The other belonged to my uncle and aunt. They lived in Holland for a couple of years back in the early 70’s and brought back several antique clocks. The one I inherited dates to the 1880’s. I remember it working when I was a kid visiting their house, but it doesn’t work at present. One of these days I’ll bring it someplace to be repaired.

Not a single one.

Growing up we had a wall mount pendulum clock and a cuckoo clock that my parents got in Germany. My folks still have the cuckoo clock in their current house, but I guess the other one was sold when they moved from the empty nest.

One of many many things they got rid of bc they want to keep us in low frequencies.

Frequency is a critical factor in the mind, body & spirit.

The evildoers intentionally shifted society from a positive into a negative state of existence.

The reason most people have no idea about the Rife machine is bc the elite don’t want you to know.

I would never part with those whether they worked or not. It's neat that they are now ticking and playing.

got a Black Forest cuckoo early in our marriage, for awhile we had a friend living with us who insisted that we keep it wound - which we have done ever since, with the exception if when we are out of town or having overnight guests (that bird is loud af)

on our 10th anniversary i bought a 100-year old Swedish “bim-bam” mantle clock which only needs winding once a week, had to have it repaired after one of our cats knocked it onto the floor a few years ago

when my m-i-l moved in with us in 2020 we took possession of her grandfather clock which she got from my f-i-l in 1978

so yeah, we like our windup clocks - it gets a little noisy in our house around noon and midnight

but it does prove the old adage: if you own more than one clock, you’ll never know the exact time

Yes.
A regulator, an old cuckoo and a key wind chiming clock. But the ticking annoys my wife, so I do not use them.

I have a Seth Thomas that is 2 face. Clock up top and day/date below. Has a hand written date of 1939 in it. I don't think it is much older than that. Some of those are not as rare as you think they would be. There is a "sticker" in it with the model and such but I didn't have a clear picture of that.

FIL has several. Had to give away a couple grandfather clocks when they moved because my wife (and I) wanted no part of that. Neither did her brother.

Aggravating things. Too much noise.

I have 2. One is around 60ish years old. I don't recall the type off hand. Works great but is sounds like you threw a rock into a 5 gallon bucket. So it is tucked away for now. The other one is a German Box clock made pre 1920's. The dong sound it makes on the hour and half hour is so soothing and clear.

It really is amazing how quickly the tick tock sounds can put me to sleep on the couch.

I need to take a picture of it next time I see it to see exactly what it has on it. I know it doesn’t work much anymore and they’ve tried several times over the years to fix it. But just the clock itself is a core memory for me for my grandmother. If it ever ends up in my hands I’m gonna do whatever I can to get if working again.

Yes, but I don't wind chimes because clocks don't keep good enough time and I don't want to hear out of sync chimes.

Well I’ll be. Would you look at that?

Ticking away loudly…with a chime that could wake the dead.

We have two.
One from my wife's family and one I just acquired this year after my dad's passing. Both are considered mantel clocks.

Coincidentally, today I was cutting and gluing up a "floating shelf" from some old cypress lumber that my dad had stored in his garage. Cut the parts out on his table saw, and nailed up with his nail gun and glue. Will place it on the wall adjacent to the piano I also have now. It runs and only chimes on the hour. I also sourced the original peacock etched glass for the clock on ebay, as my older brother broke the glass back in the 70's. Will be sanding and installing the shelf tomorrow.

ETA: The clock from my dad is dated from the late 1880's and works perfectly.

Be careful, because sometimes one the chime will wind counter clockwise and other will wind clockwise.
