My new Bentley is coming in the first week of December, but it will have a CD player.

Our 2017 Honda Accord has one. I had an old Mercury Villager in college that could hold 6 CD's. It was awesome on road trips.

It's hidden in the glove box. Kind of a waste really.

It’s so they have a way to download the navigation updates.
Some of the 2020 vehicles now have the ability to do updates like your phone does

2019 Subaru Forester does. Mazda CX-5 and Hyundai Santa Fe do not.

cassette tapes were dead by the early 1990s.
My Cool Runnings soundtrack cassette tape disagrees with you. As does the Home Alone soundtrack and amazing rappers such as Cris Kross and Tag Team (Whoop! There it is) were some of the worn out tapes I had.
Who else remembers listening to songs on the radio and then recording them on the cassette tape before mixed CDs came out?

My 2018 doesn’t - had to buy a portable CD player

My 2017 Civic doesn't. Think my CD's are in my closet.

Mine's a 2017 and I didn't think I had one until I was flipping through the touchscreen and realized I had a CD source. In addition to the touchscreen controls, there are redundant buttons and dials to control tuning, fast forward, volume, etc. and just above the buttons, there's an unmarked slot that the CD goes into and there's a non-descript eject button in the middle of all the buttons. I tested it with a music CD and it is actually an audio player and not just for the nav system.
I easily missed it for months and have not used it except for that test.

My 2013 car has a CD player but my Incubus CD has been stuck in there for a couple of years now.

My boom box was ready to record.
Miss those days a little.

Both our 2016 vehicles have CD players. I use mine sometimes.
