Yes... I can participate and keep up with stats instead of watching it

That was my extent of it too.

I don't watch the NFL but I stopped way before it became a political stance to do so. I just think the product sucks. NFL football just isn't fun anymore and hasn't been in a long time.

Are you an LSU fan by chance? Just curious if you've heard the news...

Why the hell would we not watch football? You know many players still stand for the flag, why would I stop watching over what “some” players do and say just because I disagree with them? White liberals are the ones that don’t understand football and shouldn’t be watching

Sorry to interrupt. Do you have crews that could repair an new construction window and fix any drywall? I am having leaks in two spots. Don't know if its the window or wall. Needing some help Stout and having trouble finding a contractor.

I watched it, just like I did every other weekend when it was on.

I understand this part, too many commercials, penalties, etc.

Did you people just wake up on Sunday mornings go to the couch and never move till Monday morning?
I can’t understand how you “lost your Sunday” due to football? It’d have to be raining to keep me inside all day, regardless of what was on tv during the daytime.

I used to watch the games on Sunday. Being in Alabama, professional football is just something you watch to see how the in-state kids are doing. Some people like the Falcons, Titans, or Saints because they are close.

When the NFL stopped being about entertainment and started being about political statements is when I lost interest. Same with the NBA. Just another gov't funded monopoly using their position to shape public policy. It's called fascism.

Does a fat baby fart? They had some really good games this week. Why would I not watch the NFL? Anyone who doesn't, probably didn't watch it all that much in the first place.

Monday night football ratings showed that 6M watched it on ESPN, 7M watched on ABC and 800k watched the Manning brothers calling the game on ESPN2 (which was pretty high considering it was the first time and it was a different kind of format)

Even the games that were not that close got high ratings this weekend.

I did. There was almost zero noticeable wokeness, and nearly all of it was in the commercials, not the broadcast. I also never said that I would boycott the NFL.

Where I did act hypocritically was that I did end up grabbing a cheap ticket right before kickoff and attend the LSU game when I said that I wouldn’t.

I didn't watch at the beginning of the season last year when they were over the top with the bullshite. I checked back in 3 or 4 weeks into the season and it was mostly back to normal. I was never a "never watch again" person, but they could have lost me.

I didn't play fantasy football at all last year, for the first time in 13 years. All 3 of my leagues folded without a word. No one was interested.

I'm watching this year, actually more interested in the NFL than college for the first time in years. But they both used to be must watch tv for me, now I'm ok if I miss a game.

I have never understood why folks ever viewed the NFL as this moral high ground. I dont give a shite, what a player says, they are allowed to have opinions just like I am allowed to not agree. I watched just like every other year with zero shits given...
