quote:
All the “I’m not gonna watch” crew still tunes in every single week but it’s only to “check my fantasy” “my wife had it on” “my son had it on” “the place I was at was showing it” “nothing else was on so I tuned in for a minute.” It’s understandable and those guys definitely don’t watch.
well, this is false.
ETA: And why the anchor?

I had been done with the NFL for 3 years, but I like watching Burrow too much to tune it out now. Also my sister said she would split FF winnings with me if I drafted for her and we won, so I'm paying attention to that. So, I'm basically back to watching 2-3 NFL games a week.
It wasn't really that I was trying to make a point the past few years. It was more so that the product was very bad, and there were better things to do. It seems to have gotten better.
The political commentary is very annoying, but I don't think its nearly as damaging as the ads we have to watch all day. Usually I'll turn the TV off if a commercial comes on, even if that means missing a play or two of the next series. I also watch on mute when I can.

I’m back watching. I have a man crush on the Bengals QB.

I admit, there was a time when I wrote off the NFL but I couldn't get enough this past weekend
