My point being…. Don’t do away with the bowls but have an alternative like skills, player/fan interaction, etc

Watching the WKY and Southern Miss game and someone was put in an aircast and hauled off on a cart. Hopefully his college career isn’t over but it got me thinking… what’s the point in these bowl games that aren’t playoff games? Maybe adopt something similar to the Pro Bowl and make these “bowl games” more skill activities. I know you can still get hurt the the chances are a lot less.
This year…. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

I don't even think we had true "insiders" except for 1-2 people.
Napier had awesome success in the Sun Belt winning the conference. James Madison is in the Sun Belt…. Seems like a logical decision and a perfect match for both to me

I didn't advocate for Napier to LSU nor did I think he would do good at LSU.... but I think he is a good coach. Maybe sometimes the program is bigger than you can handle (FLA) but can suceed at a lower-tier school.

How do you interview coaches when all you care about is winning and all you need to see is played out on Saturday’s and Sunday’s? Other than hearing what they are thinking of on assistant coaches
You do know he went 7-6 in 2023 and same record in 2024?
