I had a few older kids nearly twice my age in the neighborhood that tried fricking with me a lot when I was really little, like 5-7. It stuck with me. One of them was really bad. My older brother gripped his arse up in the alley once and it stopped, but I didn’t let it go and fricked up that dudes car bad several years later.

I used to let my years younger brother beat up some of the neighborhood kids that were close to my age. I would let my brother get his licks in and break up the fight before the other kid could take advantage.

Did he make you ask your mom if he could sleep over?

Anyone else used to get slapped by their parents or in trouble for asking your parents, in front of the kid, if they could sleep over?

No. My parents could afford to feed them for a night and the friend would occupy my time and I wouldn't bug my parents with being bored.

No. Best I remember he just informed me one day he was going to come spend the night at my place. Though he'd never bullied me before, till the basketball game a couple years later, he was the type that did bully. He was bigger than most kids our age, he'd failed a grade or possibly 2, and seemed to have a pretty bad attitude.

And no, I didn't have to ask my Mom's permission to have friends come over, even to spend the night. This guy, though, was no friend.

Just weird all around.

We had a "school" bully in elementary. He was one of those kids who was 16 in the 8th grade. He made everyone's life miserable. I ran into him probably 10 years ago and he remembered me and apologized. He's doing well for himself also.

I had one who looked and acted like Draco Malloy. He went to prison for five years for having a kilo of cocaine, so I got the last laugh there.

Had an older kid in my neighborhood that we were all friends with that was a semi bad arse. Knew a little bit of karate, was always outside hitting a punching bag and had a luscious mullet. We were playing basketball one day and I fouled him pretty bad. He kicked me dead in my chest. I didn't think much of it until I noticed he broke my red with white checkerboard duckies that were hanging on the string we used to put on them, Miami Vice days. Next time I got the ball I threw it as hard as I could and hit him square in the face. We had some words and both went home. I dodged him for a couple weeks but never had any issues since.

I am still pissed off at him for being the first one to tell me Santa Claus wasn't real.

I had one attempt.

Ignoring him didn't work so I threw a desk at him during Biology. I didn't even get in trouble and he left me alone after that. His parents complained and tried to get me kicked out but it didn't work. Of course the teacher knew he was a prick and I didn't cause trouble, I still wonder why teachers let pricks get away with being pricks.

There was one in particular that was pretty bad. Don't have a chance to ever confront him, though, since he OD'd on heroin a few years back.

There was this little gay kid in middle school that used to go around picking on people. He used to spit on people, grab you from behind, and unzip your backpack so so all your stuff fell out. He never really bothered me until one day after school I was waiting to cross the street and he came and shoved me down. He stood there and laughed like an arse, so when I got up I punched him in the face. He cried and never bothered me again.

A few weeks later he tried to grab some other guy’s dick at the urinal - he got the shite beat out of him, and then he was asked to leave the school.

I had one as a kid/teen. He was an absolute dick, singled me out constantly, didn't really bully other people, just me. He ended up committing suicide.

The one time I tried to bully another kid, he sucker punched me later in the day and bloodied my nose at school. I never picked on anyone again. But, that guy is currently serving prison sentence for child molestation in AZ.

As an adult, I once had an online bully that followed me around another website just ragging me and shitting on any post I made, he was obsessed with me. He also ended up taking his own life, I learned from mutual acquantances.

2 punks in public school. 4th grade then another in 9th. Mom gave the go ahead for the strike and both backed down afterwards.

We had 2 brothers who were a year or two older than most of the kids, they took great pleaser in trying to bully everyone, when I look back, those kids were mini-psychopaths. They would catch small animals like lizards and frogs so they could torture them.

I hit my growth spurt about 12, their reign of terror was over.

Yes. But both my mother and grandmother encouraged me to fight them. I did. It was good advice.

It turns out fighting them prevents future bullying. Who knew?

One of them died of a heroin overdose.
Another committed suicide via gunshot wound to the head.

Both were about 30.

So, one already in jail, one likely going to jail for pedophilia and the other looking at jail time for excessive police brutality----or what counts for it in today's PC, cops can't be real cops mentality.

in the 80s you got bullied and you bullied. It was a right of passage.

I thought I had bullies, but in hindsight, I was just a huge pussy that couldn’t deal with razzing.

Adversely, I was a complete piece of shite to a few people in third and fourth grade. Trying to keep my kids from going in either direction.
