I was shocked at the number of unscrupulous people in my dental school class. The amount and level of cheating was like nothing I had ever seen compared to high school and undergrad. They literally called a class meeting to devise a cheating system for a microbiology practical exam. 
I’d trust maybe 10% of my graduating class to work on me or my family.

My ultimate goal in life is to be ranked in a TulaneLSU top dentists list. I would make my own plaque and hang it in my waiting room

As a dentist, I think we're very close to being on the level of chiropractors. The greed and immorality in both the medical and dental fields is sickening.

I get my cleanings, but sometimes it’s just too much shite.
Always trying to upsell me on fluoride. When I was younger the dentist wanted to put a filling in my wisdom tooth and I was just like, I’m getting them out though.
And what ever little in-house plans these places try to sell you if you don’t have insurance always seemed like scams.

My mother in-law is in the dentistry industry. The industry itself is definitely not a scam but there are a bunch of scammers in it doing unnecessary procedures.

The new dentistry method was put together by some of the head people from Scientology. It's basically a money grab. Things that could be done in one visit now takes 4 or 5 visits.
