We just closed on a house and moved in this past weekend AND have a 2 week old baby. I just alerted the wife it may be time to start gathering up things to GTFO. Riding this out with a newborn doesn't seem fun.

Yucatan will give it a shove West. My guess is 50 miles East of Galveston as a Cat 2-3

The eye is there, it's just fricking 5 miles across and can't see it through the convection around it. It's going to have to go full Wilma to get that little eye to poke out.

Yes but there is an area of high pressure that will move it back to the east. Not saying Texas is out of it, but it's super improbable

LMAO. If you think this thing is going anywhere west of Lafayette at the most, you are dead wrong. I wouldn't even bank on that.
