Depending on the TSA setup it could be fairly easy. I know when I was in Denver I could have smuggled stuff through especially if I knew one of the tsa agents. You can easily smuggle stuff through the ground crew up through the jet bridge. Airport security really isn’t as hardcore as they want you to believe.

[Rustom] Bhagwagar — who was serving as co-pilot on the flight — was hit with five counts of oral copulation with a child under 10 years old, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s office announced on Monday.
A Florida resident, Bhagwagar has been under investigation since April when the California sheriff’s office received a report about child sex crimes.
Delta has not commented on the arrest of Bhagwagar, who remains held in lieu of $5 million bail.
