‘Defund the police’ activist begs for help when everything she owned is stolen.

“Anti Police activist begs the police to help,” jeered the X account Bay State of Mind, which comments on San Francisco Bay Area politics.
Tom Wolf, an addiction recovery advocate who has nearly 30,000 followers, posted a screenshot of a previous post in which Bell blasts the San Francisco Police, alongside a screenshot of her recent plea.

Never understood the defund the police initiative. I think it's strange that the complaints about modern policing is the poor quality of its officers, yet they want to pay them less. If you want a better quality candidate than a C student that isn't an egotistical lunatic with a gun you should pay them accordingly.
I think that policing for profit needs to be outlawed. Budgetary shortfall should not be made up with road piracy. Also cops should be required to carry insurance on themselves like a practitioner. If you do a bad enough job you aren't insurable and bad apples will get tossed out through natural attrition.
