You literally, and intentionally, split a quote from an article in half because you didn’t like what it said. When I point that out, I’m defending her position and massaging her position? I don’t give a shite about Omar, and I don’t give a shite about the Defund movement. As I said in a previous post on this thread, threads like this aren’t worth the aggravation for me anymore. I was about to type this to him in response. You clearly stated in multiple posts that you don't support the position. Either people truly don't understand the point, or they do and just need an enemy to single out.
I make posts like yours from time to time usually pushing back on catastrophizing positions. It's crazy how many times posters get offended and don't realize that I agree with their general positions.

You’re flat out making shite up. I said what I believe the average “Defund” position is. You selected her, you selected the quote, and you selected the source. You could have chosen anything, and you chose that. You also chose to cut the article quote in half because it contradicted your position. Before you posted the quote, I had literally never seen it before in my life. And before you cut it in half, you hadn’t listened to it in its entirety. I still haven’t, because again, I don’t care. But if what you’re saying is true (which I assume against my better judgment after what you did with the article quote), then it sounds like the article author is editorializing.
But when you posted the quote, and I responded that you had cut the quote, neither of us knew that.
But again, keep pretending as though I’m defending her, or her position, when I’m not. I’m sure it gets you all warm and fuzzy in your righteous indignation
Eta: And for the record, the only reason why I pulled the quote you posted is because I noticed it didn’t end with punctuations, which I found curious.
