In laws north of Biloxi have 5 inches on the ground, providing they know how to measure correctly, they are 83 years old

My boy Gerald didn’t survive cancer just to get taken out by a car on a once in a lifetime snow day.

I believe the snow has stopped falling for good in Baton Rouge. I just measured the snow under the Gordon McKernan sign off I-110 where the big turns are and it was 8.75”. Insane!

It might have extra in it. The south side of my house has more snow than out in the middle of the yard.

Someone posted in our HOA group and thought this may be good advice. A couple of houses in our subdivision have had snow in their attic coming through the Ridge vent due to the wind blown snow

May want to check y’all’s attic just to be sure.

We must have passed each other

Anyone with a total this far for Nola?

I really feel like we are approaching 8 inches

Seems like it’s snowing even harder in Metairie now that at any point today.
I realistically only expected 2-4 inches. This has been amazing.

As of 2 pm my unofficial measuring is showing about 5 inches in Da Parish with more to come

I’m not sure it’s ever been “heavy” but it’s been consistent since about 9 am
