Is there a board under the snow for an accurate measurement?

Snow has stopped in Madisonville. Are we expecting any more snow bands here, or is it winding down?

Seeing places like Gulf Shores or Dauphin Island having actual snow is nuts

I was about to post that too. Looks like we are in a dry pocket but future cast suggests more to come and last til 530 or so.

I’ll bite. What were you trying to mail?
I sell on Amazon. They have metrics that orders have to be scanned in by a certain date or you could lose your ability to do FBM orders. I have 3 I needed scanned from the weekend and USPS was closed yesterday so I really needed them scanned in today. Its my screw up. We shipped around 50 orders yesterday with FedEx but these were going USPS because I always buy the cheapest option. I should have paid more and shipped them FedEx too. Now, to keep up with Amazon's on-time delivery metric, I will have to reship these 2nd day UPS or FedEx which will cost me more. Just a completely stupid move on my part.

Flurries getting more sparse in Mandeville, looks like that may be it
There’s some more south of BR that’s moving east. May still get more. We got about 6 inches

Snow is done in Lake Charles. All the nice powder is already turning to slushy snow/ice.

Of course. Thankfully someone had posted a very informative how-to in this thread.

Business doesn't stop.
This is true. My clients in Minnesota and other points north have not been sympathetic to my plight today (my “plight” being that I want to play in the snow with my kids and dogs).
Now when theres a hurricane in the Gulf (of America?) they excuse a lot.

We are getting pounded here in thib. It will not relent.

I checked in my backyard on my patio chair and it shows almost 8". And that was on the opposite side the snow was blowing from so probably add a little more than that. Crazy.
