I’m pretty sure it was the terrorist and not the car.

I’ve been wondering if his angle with Xi was “the blockade will continue until the regime is gone. So you can be with us or against us, but being against us will prolong the Chinese pain.”

Yep . They’ve earned that right ……. I might think theyre full of dog shite, but id sit there and listen.. hell, i might even learn something about how some kid could be “indoctrinated” with hateful, narrow-minded thoughts like that .

My parents raised me different. I was valedictorian and spoke at graduation. Just because I had the RIGHT to do something didn’t mean I SHOULD do something.

I represented my school, family, and community and did so in a classy, positive and motivating way. Graduating is about celebrating great teachers that impacted your life and reflecting on the great friendships you made, not lecturing others to share your views.

Sounds like her parents must be the illegal variety. Those that immigrated legally don’t like all the line skippers.

What about 2022 Lexus GX?

No, that’s the 4.6L V8.

ETA: they used to name them by displacement, GX460 = 4.6L, LX570 = 5.7L. That changed with the move from the 150/200 Land Cruiser platform to the 250/300. This recall only applies to GX550 (LC250) and LX600s (LC300).

What lexus models have this problem from 22-26?

The new LX and GX, I think everything with a build date prior to April 2024. My 2024 LX with a 2/2024 build is included.

For the GXs, it is very few. 2024 was the new model year and less than 10,000 of the new model had rolled off the assembly line before a mysterious several-week production halt. The ones built after that halt weren’t included.

He may act tough, but his name is still Rylan.

I think they’re every hour, on the hour.

What is this Iran Air flight? Took off from SA, skirted UAE, flew over Oman and then into Iran.

Looks like it’s going to Mashhad.
My experience in the region was:
Every Pakistani was a crane operator.
Every Russian was an instrumentation engineer
The Indians had the worst jobs.

Above was correct that they’d work 11 months on, one month off and often only got paid at the end nd of the 11 months.

Not sure why I got a solid 100% downvote ratio. I’m the only one that answered OP’s question with actual numbers rather than what my own strategy is.

And actually, my numbers were wrong. $100k in 1st grade (2026) with $300/mo contributions projects $255k when they graduate which would cover 100% of an IN STATE PUBLIC SCHOOL.

For an out of state public school, it projects cost of $369k. So to stick with $300/mo, you’d need $158k in first grade or $100k with $889/mo contributions till graduation.

You can play with the college inflation rates and market return rate assumptions in the tool.

I used some online calculator from Schwab. $100k in 1st grade gets me to where it says I should be for my kid to go to an out of state public school.

Tough balance between saving enough and not saving too much.
Trump really doesn’t want to restart the bombing. I think he’s hoping with the blockade and internal power struggles, he can topple them from within. However, if they start firing on citizens, I think hell will break loose.
Extremely stout. I don’t keep the screen down in high wind. I recall when the spam goes over a certain length (maybe 17-18’) it makes you go to a model with larger motor and housing.

re: Statin question

I’ve had bad bloodwork my entire life and bad family history. Got on statins in my mid 30s and probably should have done it sooner. I’m thin and fit but have bad genetics.

I think they increase your risk of diabetes. Read a study recently to that effect.

I don’t like taking statins, but it’s better than dropping dead of a heart attack in my 40s.
I ordered from North Solar Screen and did my own last year. Was about $5k delivered and a Saturday of my time for two sections, ~25’ and another one that was ~4’.
