Yooo I was 27 when I got diagnosed with cirrhosis. I felt like shite for weeks before I woke up with jaundice one day. I was drinking a liter of whiskey a day to not have seizures and more if I wanted to actually get drunk (which was all the time). I hope you don’t have it! If you do, it is actually possible to recover like I did in part due to being so young. You will probably have alcoholic fatty liver if I had to guess, but that too you can recover from. The main thing is to stop drinking. I needed 7 months in rehab for quitting. Another thing is to change your diet. I’ve been doing mostly keto for a few years now. At this point I see a gastroenterologist twice a year for ultrasound/blood work. This last time I went about a month ago, I was more or less told “We don’t want to just reverse such a serious diagnosis as cirrhosis, especially since it isn’t normally something that goes away, but your ultrasound doesn’t show any cirrhosis at this point so…” yeah. My official medical record list me as having active cirrhosis, but off the record my doc says my liver healed completely. I’m grateful to God for my health and that I didn’t need a transplant and to still be alive at all really. Good luck to you man, if I can come back from that then I know you can make it.

It’s been about 4 and 1/2 years now and I’m quite healthy today. Getting to the point where you drink that much is literal hell. Very grateful to be alive today.

Was there last night for a metal show and everyone was about the same age as me (I’m 32) minus the handful of 19 year olds who like metal. What everyone else said is true, the BR metal scene tends to be us 30+ year olds who started going to shows at the Darkroom on Florida Blvd in like 05/06 when we were teens.
