Death Row Last Meal

A Georgia death row inmate scheduled to be executed next week has chosen a final meal that includes everything from barbecue and pizza to ice cream as state officials prepare to carry out his sentence. Stacey Humphreys is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson.
This is a guy who killed two real estate agents in a model home in 2003.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Humphreys requested barbecue beef brisket, pork ribs, a bacon double cheeseburger, french fries, buffalo wings, a meat lovers pizza, butter pecan ice cream, peach ice cream and two caffeine-free soft drinks for his last meal.
No chance he eats all of that. If you’re a prison guard, how depraved do you have to be to take home the leftovers? “He didn’t even touch the pizza”.

Sounds like he did that just to spite the COs. I would definitely take home some leftovers if I was a CO and enjoy the hell out of it knowing the person who ordered it was just injected with poison and will never eat another meal again. #SavageLife

I think Angola limits it to what they can prepare in the prison kitchen. They try to accommodate them within that parameter.

Texas did away with the last meal several years back when the ringleader of the James Byrd killing did this:

Yeah it’s stupid. If I had a choice though I would go with Olivia Munn as my last meal. What a way to go out.
In all seriousness, maybe I would go with a fried seafood plate. Oysters, shrimp, catfish, fries, hushpuppies, okra. I wish I wouldn’t have seen this thread because now I’m thinking about this more than I should
