In case I murder anybody, here's mine:
BBQ shrimp from Pascal's Manale
Catfish Acadienne
Filet Mignon
Mashed potatoes from Pappadeaux's -- I'm serious, they were absolutely delicious
Garlic biscuits from Red Lobster (so sue me)
Chocolate ice cream from Amy's in Austin, over vanilla cake

Current Rule: Inmates now eat whatever is on the menu for the Huntsville Unit cafeteria on the day of their execution.
Probably cost more for Thursday Mystery Meat Day via 3rd party for profit prison. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment and the Constitution. If any of you are old enough to remember 1960's style rectanglar "pizza" in cafeterias for lunch, you know I know about which I speak.

Never understood giving these frickers a last meal when their victims never got one.

That was way more interesting than I thought it would be.

Were the ingredients still a mystery then?
The 60's version had no discernible toppings found after, say the 1980 election cycle. While there may have been actual meat and vegetables, they looked totally inedible, and what little cheese there was probably came from WW II surplus cheese stocks.

Friend,
One of the best American art exhibits of this century is Julie Green’s The Last Supper. I found it a deeply moving and personal commentary on the American prison and justice system that made me think about the people despised by most of society, the same people I believe Jesus called us to love and serve. The exhibit is made of painted plates which show the elements of the last meal of many who were executed by the state.
The beautiful exhibit will be in Grand Rapids for a year starting next month. If you have the chance I highly recommend you visit.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

I'll take it and if anyone has one extra ticket to the West side Stadium Club for the TAM game to give away, I'll take it also.
