See, this is why I want to marry an Asian woman.

They stay skinny and they fricking listen when you tell them what to do.

I'm not getting married until I find one.

Full Disclosure: I'm single, 44, and own a cat. No kids.

This thread is filled with people who either have terrible communication skills, are/were in relationships with people who have terrible communication skills, or both.

Politics just happens to be the easy thing you fight about. If you agreed about politics, you crazy frickers would be fighting about something else.

OK, you need to be a hero for men and attempt to take one for the team: divorce her and take the house and most of her money. frick her, and not in the way you have been. Take the cash. You will be the second man behind Kevin Federline to have pulled this off.

I'm not overly plugged in to politics but I think relationships are much easier when you have shared values and many values that people consider important tend to align with political leanings.

Some of these Leftists think that red states are controlled by Mongolian Hoardes where women are raped in the streets for their babies and people are lynched regularly.

They really do. It's almost like they want red states to fulfill some sort of sick fantasy of theirs.

You have to agree to disagree. Me and mine have a lot of different beliefs and we just don't talk about it.

There is fundamental cultural gulf between the left and the right.

We want the opposite for our children, and trying to bridge that gap would be an exercise in insanity.

I’m very conservative and my fiancé is more moderate on social issues. She’s gotten me to see both sides even if I don’t agree so that’s a plus. We bicker about some issues but just agree to disagree if it comes up.

Sounds like your situation is a lot worse.

Any of you baws have experience with this?

Been married almost 40 years. Wife has become a lot more conservative in her views over the last decade. Hell she voted for Obama in 08 and is pulling the lever for Trump in November. Strange times we live in.

Well it depends if she is a liberal leader or follower. If she is the one leading the charge then run like a mofo.

If she believes in some of the liberal ideas because someone explained it in a charismatic way then there is hope for her. She might need an equally intelligent person to discuss conservative points of view.

The fact that she is going out with you knowing you are her opposite says she isn't a typical crazy liberal..they don't have tolerance for those who differ from them. So there is that
