Sounds like you can't keep up with her intellectually, and if you're talking about that crap on a Saturday night instead of laying pipe, you probably aren't satisfying her sexually either.

I’ll play Devil’s Advocate to the rest of the thread and say that’s on you.
My wife is liberal and I’m conservative (though we’re both pretty moderate). Politics aside, we agree on shite that actually matters to our relationship: money, kids, religion, family, future goals.
It’s not to say that we don’t disagree on things, but we don’t let it affect how we feel about each other.
The main point being, politics only gets in the way as much as you two let it.
My wife is liberal and I’m conservative (though we’re both pretty moderate). Politics aside, we agree on shite that actually matters to our relationship: money, kids, religion, family, future goals.
It’s not to say that we don’t disagree on things, but we don’t let it affect how we feel about each other.

If your wife is actually liberal, then I can see how it can work. What we think is he's dating a Leftist. With my Leftist ex, we were on the same page when it came to the issues you put up there. Leftists just won't let it go, will try to bully you into their views, and will act like spoiled children when you refuse to agree with them or want to let it go. Dating someone who simply disagrees with me in tax policy and school vouchers shouldn't be a major issue for either of us, but if you want the President to be killed by an assassin with the world wide ramifications of that be damned, then we got a problem.

That’s because far left socialism/communism, like far right fascism, demand total adherence to the ideology to function in the real world. This is why whenever either are tried in the real world, they both lead to massive atrocities. Dissenting voices have to be purged from society.

It doesn’t work especially in this climate. My last girlfriend told me anybody who supports Trump or carries a gun on them is an idiot. It was a list of things she didn’t like about me.

My wife and I aren't totally aligned politically. She's a traditional Republican and a big Trump fan. I'm more of a Ron Paul libertarian. We share a lot of core values though. I wouldn't waste my time or hers dealing with a progressive.

Run.......my wife is a very liberal( non admitted Democrat). We’ve been together 20 years and there is nothing we agree on. Our kids have suffered because to keep the peace, I deferred to her view of raising kids. They are now 18&19 and walk all over her, have no respect and are ill equipped to handle life at any level.
Name a topic and we are opposites to the nth degree. She deals in emotion not fact and gets angry that “ I” never agree with her.....never seeing the irony of that statement flipped in that “she” never agrees with me LOL!!!!!
I use to push back and we had some very angry ugly fights but now, I remain calm knowing when the shite hits the fan, I can save ammunition.......
