I would not do it.
Being married to an opposite is a daily struggle. Find a sweet Southern Belle that is feminine not feminist.
Mine started out close to me in religion and apolitical to my right leaning ideas. Now she is further away in both venues (and of course is not rational about it-only superficial emotion) and it is a major struggle.
Still trying to make this a winning relationship on my end but on her end its easy just to pour most energy into the kids and career and call it a day.
Where you live matters also. Are you going to be surrounded by conservatives and have her be the outlier? That would be better than to live surrounded by liberals and you being the outlier.

The issue with the current left is that it is structurally impossible to find any common ground.

I tried it a couple of times and it wasnt for me. It wasn't the political arguments, necessarily, that turned me off. They tended to be lazier, had a victim complex whenever I called them out on anything, had an entitlement mentality when it came to money, and would quit putting effort into their looks after the relationship got serious.
