well my last gf was pretty hot, but had an IQ of about 90. Mine was measured at 150. We didn't last.

I broke up with a really nice girl specifically because her obsession about pop culture hurt my brain. If you are 50 Taylor Swift should not really be on your radar in any more than a passing interest. These women tend to have room for the garbage and none for the important stuff. The answer is a hard no. Find a woman who wants a life of discovery and meaning. Provided the sex is great.

This. I don’t know the young lady but it sounds like she’s smart enough (has a good job) but y’all don’t easily jive on a deep level and she has difficulty with your sense of humor.

Grass is always going to be greener. Does she treat you well? Would she be a good mom/partner?

Having said all that, in my experience marriage doesn’t make your wife think you’re funnier.

If she can put her legs behind her head or play the kazoo with her a-hole she's a keeper.

Otherwise, your frustration will only grow and we will be watching one of yall on murder porn one evening.

I don’t know if she was dumb but I once briefly talked to a girl for a couple days who was really really into rocks. She even had a cat named after some mineral. I had to toss in the towel after a couple days though. I couldn’t feign any interest in rocks. She was cute but not cute enough to talk rocks on a regular basis.

I guess you could say your relationship hit “rock “ bottom.

A 56-year-old model has revealed that she will only date men who are in their 20s - having become fed up with boring sex with older men.

Here’s what I’ll say….If you look around, all the happily married men, married slightly less intelligent women. Marry the dumb ones I say! Add that to the list of things I wish I knew in my 20’s. I passed a pile of sweet, dumb women in exchange for smart and accomplished… mistake.

Are you ready to settle down? Then deal with it, you'll adapt.

If you're not then move along.

It just depends on how dumb.

If you tell her to go to the store get food, and she comes back with a purse, earrings, clothes, makeup, but no food, leave her at once. She will be the one that will rack up credit card bills in your name while separated leaving you the bill.

Back in the day the prevailing thought was ,

" If they read a newspaper they are too smart for me."

You need to figure out what it is in a girl that you want and then get it. If you want to date a brainiac. Then by all means.

If you dump her send her my way baw. If I want to have a stimulating conversation I will talk to my buddies about politics or sports. Not what I am looking for in a mate.

Baws: if you are dating a really smart girl there’s a good chance you are the dumb boy in the relationship and she’s wondering the same as OP

I’ve been seeing a girl over the course of the last few months (no pics). She’s a good person, has similar positions as me on the basics (religion, general politics, not being a shitty person, etc), but there’s not really much depth to her. Her hobbies are pretty much just hot yoga and tik tok. A ‘deep’ topic to her is whether or not Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are built to last or not.

Sounds like 80% of the women on the North Shore.

All you had to do is give her meaning in life that isn’t pop culture. And you failed
