ss I thought it was odd because he gave off the notion that he was getting back into the "fight" and that he was needed. If he was that needed in the situation, I figure he might hold off on the presser.
In today's reality, it's smart to be out front and control the narrative as much as possible.. I think it played a solid part in not having wild and inaccurate information being floated all night through the media.. He kept the media abreast of ongoing situations and updated info on what they gathered and who they gathered, while putting a sense of calmness in the air that was needed..

I get this feeling you have this weird obsession of coming off as some superior poster on here and your rhetoric in this thread just kinda solidifies that for me.
Yes he has the right to carry in public but, he just happened to be doing it a the wrong place at the wrong time. Unfortunate circumstance. Move on.

quote:I don't think he was asking to be brought in by police. I think he was certainly looking for attention. But the situation called for him to be brought in and it's kind of comical that he doesn't understand why.
The same sick fricks in this thread that are saying he asked for it would be saying the same damn thing had he been injured or killed.
quote:Was his name not cleared and he got to go home safely?
it would have taken very very very little effort to clear his name and allow him to go home safely without fear of being harmed

And had he been harmed after he was released from custody??? Then what?
Wow.
Venturing into hypothetical police beatings now? GTFO with this shite.

I know LE is going full retard up in here

Lester, my biggest gripe with you is your accusation that we're racist for not really caring about this guy being plastered as a "POI" for 4 hours and being inconvenienced.
That has nothing to do with race. He matched the description they had, he had an AR-15, which was the gun they thought was killing people, and he was within 100 feet of the shootings.
He'll live and be fine. He can get over it. Its not racism, its just the way shite goes during a mass shooting without any clue who the suspects are.
Its mayhem and people died, he should realize that his problems are minuscule in comparison.
He has been cleared and can go about his life today, less than 12 hours after the shooting.

He wore camo and carried a rifle to what was supposed to be a peaceful protest
Sorry but I don't give a shite how inconvenienced he was. You don't have to break the law to make a dumb decision.
I agree that he should've been cleared sooner but it's certainly not a real issue here. He was a dumbass

I'm sorry. Was he arrested?

I think he is talking about hypothetical vigilante white people taking justice into their own hands and attacking someone who had nothing to do with the police killings. I can see a problem with that.

I mean the guy got what he wanted. He wanted attention, that's a fact.

A man carrying a gun in the middle of a mass shooting. I'm sorry that the logical step would be to say hey, lets go find the guy that has been seen around here armed with an AR. You know the immediate vicinity of the shootings.
I'm sorry that you still don't understand what the man was upset about. He turned himself in and long before that gave up his unloaded rifle yo police.
I'm pretty sure he clearly understood why he was a potential suspect.
He fully cooperated with cops which only made it more dumbfounding they couldn't clear his name

He did go home safe and unharmed.
You're angry over a hypothetical which did not happen. The guy is fine.

That's even more asinine, to be honest.

I agree he did nothing wrong. It's unfortunate that he was wrongfully thought of as a suspect. But he can't possibly be surprised. Wrong place wrong time for him. But nothing happened. He's fine.

I forgot he had "not loaded" written across his rifle. My bad.
Posted on 7/8/16 at 11:05 am to TheCaterpillar
The dude was trying to be cool by open carrying a weapon at a protest incited by killings...with a weapon. If he would have kept his bullshite agenda at home instead of trying to prove a point, he would be just another Joe. frick this guy regardless

You're the fricking worst in threads like these. It's Cardelle Hayes all over again.
