quote:

The couple moved onto the 28-foot boat, which was in the marina of Tarpon Springs, a town on Florida’s Gulf Coast, and lived there for months with their two-year-old pug, Remy, while they stocked up on food and supplies.

quote:

Nearly two days into their venture, the couple’s boat capsized in a channel of water called John’s Pass.

So a couple from Colorado decides that a few months a living aboard their boat is enough time to learn how to sail it? And who believes a 28' sailboat is suitable for sailing the world?

They have started a Go Fund me page to help save them from their own idiocy.

They've already gotten $11,226 on their GoFundMe page. I don't understand this world.

Kicker is that capsizing in the channel probably saved their lives. If those idiots had gotten to open water they would have died and no one would have noticed.

I read about this yesterday, and assuming I read the article correctly, the couple’s amassed wealth was $5000 for the boat and $5000 to have it made seaworthy.

If $10000 gets you to retirement, I’m doing this shite all wrong.
