Spending the 10 grand on some tits would be a better investment.

Those would have helped them stay afloat better than the boat.

Just a heads up to our younger friends. But It’s shite like this story that make the rest of us look at Millennials the way we do. Remember kids, stereotypes exist for a reason.

I would contribute to the fund if she posted a video of herself having a drink of water from the container sitting in the sun all day.

If they don't re-name their boat the "Chris McCandless" they're missing a hell of an opportunity.

Anyone know what happened to that young couple that was sailing the Caribbean and posting videos and a diary about their travels until thier boat got F'ed by a hurricane?

They had a thread about them here. I think they had a little more experience that these two idiots.

There are at least a dozen youtube channels of people sailing around the world.

Most are couples, a few are groups of friends.

Delos and La Vagabonde are the top two sailing channels. Both have experienced crew and professional production quality.

The couple from this thread probably saw some of those channels and got in over their heads. I can respect their attempt to take a different path in life. But you have to be a real moron to buy a 49 year old boat with no sailing experience and think you can just set sail.

ETA: I am not sure which boat/couple you are referring to. I seem to recall La Vagabonde having issues with their original boat last year sometime, but haven't followed them closely in a few years.

Also....look at their gofundme. They have before and after pics posted. Assuming the after is when it was filling up with water. Your boat is sinking and you stop to take pics with your phone??

Again....the only victim in this is Remy.

Can we start a gofundme to have Remy taken away and given a new home?

His instagram page has bunches of pictures of the two of them smoking weed.

Maybe if they had focused more on learning how to sail then getting high, they wouldn't have crashed.

But from the Gofundme results, it seems like they are making money on this deal, so what do I know.
