That right there is a dislocated ankle.
Billups' issue isn't just that he was playing in an illegal poker game run by the Mafia. Sounds like he was allegedly part of a team that would cheat in these poker games by using tech to read all cards dealt and defraud certain other players.
Pretty wild to get pepper sprayed, stabbed, arrested, and likely fired from your job all based on trying to fight a 70 year old over a parking dispute.
Thought Fritz played pretty well overall with groundstrokes but if he’s going to win a match like this he needs to make a much higher percentage of first serves.
Lol Kershaw yelling “suck it Big Dumper”

Challenge worked perfectly just now. Missed strike three. Correction took 10 seconds.

Thought this movie sucked. 90+ minutes of the same message (big tech only cares about money/power and doesn't give a shite who their tech hurts) being relentlessly beaten into the audience's head. I don't even disagree with the message but the writing seemed lazy.

Is that not goaltending? Grabbed the rim while the ball is on the backboard.
In the US, the best major airports are: ATL, LGA, DTW, PDX, MSP

Worst are: JFK, EWR, DFW, SFO, MCO
Season finale is one of the more insane and brilliant hours of TV I’ve seen in a long time. Really impressive he’s able to pull all that off let alone craft a tv show narrative out of it.
Not going to read through the thread to avoid potential spoilers on the finale but the whole bit in episode 5 about him not getting why autistic people relate to him so much was absolutely hilarious.

Fielder kind of falls into the same category for me as Bo Burnham in that they’re so creative in their projects that it’s impossible to not appreciate the depth of the work even if it’s not your thing.
NBA playoffs have been a must watch so far. So many great games.
Citing Miami paying Beck $4m to transfer as fricking up the QB transfer market doesn't make sense in Nico’s context. Miami didn't really pay Beck to transfer from UGA. He was already gone immediately after the season. They paid him to forego an NFL contract for one more season.

3rd/4th round picks (where Beck was projected post elbow injury) make between $4.5-6m per a quick google search. Seems like Miami gave him close to the floor of that to entice him to come back and try to improve his draft stock. As a sophomore Nico doesn’t have a potential NFL contract as negotiating leverage. He also hasn’t delivered close to Beck’s career production (even if his ceiling is higher and Beck has a rough season last year).
I assume Cam's point about money is that through his personal experience he believes many of these young players aren't making sound financial decisions with the money they're receiving in their early 20s and that it's much smarter to set yourself up for a good situation that prepares you for NFL contracts as opposed to seeking the highest dollar value no matter what when you're 20. Seems reasonable to me.
Not exactly surprising after his round today. Had to be an absolute emotional roller-coaster.
Well damn, Rory. Certainly could've used that on the 72nd.
That putt is just far away enough for him to miss in excruciating fashion.

Man, Arkansas really struggles to catch pop ups in foul territory in shallow RF.
Just a fantastic final four. All games have been awesome.
I'd be curious if Baldwin could play LF or RF depending on the park.

The Braves knew what was likely going on when they signed him.

He was getting actively tested last year during his career year and never tested positive. He said in his statement he was tested eight times and never got flagged. How are teams supposed to assume any uptick in production must be drugs in today's world?
Super salty as a Braves fan but it's complete bullshite that contracts aren't voidable for a PED suspension. Profar has been mid his whole career and then has a career season in his contract year where all supporting variables (exit velocity, line drive %, etc.) support his ability to sustain improvement going forward. Now we learn it was likely all PEDs and the Braves are stuck with a guaranteed (minus 80 games) contract for a guy the whole fan base probably hates now at a rate he absolutely does not deserve.
I’m a bit nervous of a massive regression by Lopez. Hope he proves me wrong.
