Y'all remember like 5 years ago we were talking about how there is a very real obesity issue in this country?
Now we just say it's healthy to be 5'3" 240

It’s so easy to lose weight especially when you’re that fat.

Where’s the fact-checking from the medical experts like Zuckerberg, Dorsey, and others who censored the doctors inre hydroxychloriquine?

Would be interesting to see how this fat cover sells.

I think they forgot the quotation marks on the healthy.

This what happens when you frown on fat shaming.

Imagine the same caption but with Arseinclarse’s avatar.

Tell that to Covid. Let’s blame everything and everyone for what’s going on but God forbid we maybe tell people to shed a few pounds and start doing just a little exercise.

There’s a health insurance issue in this country that would be greatly mitigated if we all weren’t so fat.

this is one of those things where good intentions is likely more harmful than good
teenage girls are ripe for depression and depression rates among teens is sky rocketing, mostly because they can't handle social media
so the whole "body positive" movement is meant to curb the very real mental health issues
but instead of pushing ways to actively improve mental health, there is this push of "all is well" or "its them not you" approach
its very shortsighted

One of my favorite issues is healthy eating in the black community
On one hand, there are a ton of articles on how black people don't have access to healthy food such as fruits, vegetables, organic foods, etc.
Then on the other, there are a ton of articles on how "healthy eating" is racist and that white people are trying to ruin black culture by telling them that what they're eating is unhealthy.

That's because "achieving" a healthy body weight isn't always fun or easy. It takes some degree of will-power, accountability and discipline.
It's not "easy" to pass up eating a whole bag of cookies and opt, instead, for a piece of fruit. It is much more pleasurable to eat a cheeseburger and fries every day than a meal of lean meat and vegetables. It's easy to pile an entire bag of chips and salsa into your gut in one sitting (I KNOW!) than to back away from the table. It's tough to motivate yourself to exercise every day.
However, its still not fun to be ridiculed, feel rejected, or have a poor self image because you're obese. So the two options to fixing that issue are (1) Having the discipline, desire and will-power to maintain a healthy weight or (2) Redefine what is "healthy" so one doesn't have to subjectively have a poor self imagine while ALSO allowing them justification to continue making all the bad choices that made them obese in the first place. Literally having your cake and eating (several slices of) it too!
30-40 years ago a fatty would get tired of being fat and use that as motivation to change. In 2021 we just change the way we look at things so fatties can continue to be fat without the ridicule that goes with it
